Councillors:
Theberton and Eastbridge Parish Council has 9 Parish Councillors. Parish Councillors are unpaid, elected (or co-opted) members of the local community with an interest in improving parish life.
The elections were held in May 2023, each Parish Councillor was elected for a 4-year term until the end of the council term in May 2027.
There are currently no vacancies for Parish Councillors.

The Council has adopted:
Local Government Association Model Councillor Code of Conduct 2020 which was reviewed and approved them on 13th March 2024.

Parish Clerk:

All Parish Council meetings are public meetings and members of the public are welcome to attend to observe or speak to the Council. Time for those wishing to speak will be alloted at the start of the meeting or during the meeting at the Chairman's discretion.
The Parish Council organises an annual parish meeting where it presents its own summary of the previous year and invites representatives of clubs, societies and other organisations to present their own reports. The minutes and reports from the most recent meeting are attached below. The 2020 Annual Parish Meeting was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Minutes and Agendas:
In accordance with the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities 2015, the Parish Council has a duty to publish draft minutes of meetings within one month of the meeting. The draft minutes can be found on this site. However, it must be noted that the minutes are only a draft document and do not become an official record of the Parish Council meeting until they are approved at the next Parish Council meeting. Minutes from earlier dates than published on this site can be obtained from the Parish Clerk.
The agenda for the forthcoming meeting will be published on this site three clear days before the meeting date.
